An exciting 2-weeks journey in 7 the most famous and ancient cities of China that have long history and beautiful views.



Day 01 Arrive in Beijing
Upon your arrival at Beijing Capital Airport, our guide will greet you outside the customs of the airport, holding a welcome sign with your name on it. We will escort you to check in at the hotel we have reserved for you. The rest of the day is on your own to have a rest or explore the city.

Day 02 Beijing
In the morning, you will visit the famous Tian’anmen Square and the Forbidden City. After a short stroll around the world's largest city square, Tian’anmen Square, you will walk across the Golden Water Bridge and come to the splendid Forbidden City built 600 years ago, where you will be impressed by the gorgeous imperial palaces and vast storage of historical relics.


In the afternoon, go to the Temple of Heaven. Being a royal temple from the 17th to early 20th century in the Qing Dynasty, it will fascinate you with the unique architecture like Hall of Prayer of Good Harvest and Echo Wall.
Evening - free time to explore the night of Beijing.


Day 03 Beijing
In the early morning, you will transfer to the famous world's heritage, Badaling Great Wall. Standing on the solid wall, you can see the great wall winding its way over the rolling mountains like a huge dragon, as well as the gorgeous landscape.


After lunch, continue the trip in the Ming Tomb after passing through the Sacred Way. The tombs were built at the foot of the mountains, protected by the natural barrier of the mountains from the east, west and north, where were considered an auspicious place according to Chinese Fengshui.


On the way, you will drive by the Bird's Nest (Olympic National Stadium), where you can have a short stay to take some photos with the huge nest.


Day 04 BeijingUrumqi by flight
You will visit the Summer Palace in the morning. As a representative of traditional Chinese garden, it merges natural scenery borrowed from the surrounding landscape into the magnificent architecture of imperial gardens, perfectly reflecting the Chinese gardening principle, 'the Works of Man Should Match the Works of Heaven'.


After lunch, you will board a flight to Urumqi, the capital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Our guide will be waiting for you outside the Arrival Hall of the airport and escort you to the hotel in downtown.

Day 05 Urumqi – Kashgar by flight
You will board a morning flight to Kashgar - the pearl on the ancient Silk Road, described as “fruitful soil, cotton aplenty, and inhabitants who live by trade” by Marco Polo.

Upon your arrival, our local guide will escort you to a local hotel in Kashgar.
After a short rest, you will visit the famous Sunday Market, namely Sunday Bazaar, a famous local market which is considered the largest international trade market in northwest China. Traders at home and abroad come to purchase or sell all kinds of goods. The bazaar opens everyday in Kashgar, but the one on Sunday is the liveliest, as the whole community gets together.


Day 06 Kashgar - Urumqi – Turpan by flight
Today's visit starts from the Id Kah Mosque, a 500-year-old important mosque for the locals. There you will see the typical Islamic architecture like domes, minarets and arches, as well as pious prayers.


Just a few minutes' walk, you will come to the Old Street of Kashgar. The maze of narrow alleys and traditional houses built with earth or bricks may give you the illusion of walking into the ancient Kashgar.


The last stop in Kashgar will be the Abakh Khoja Tomb, which is an ancient Islamic building complex and a cemetery where five generations of a famous Islamic master were buried. You will see the largest dome architecture of Xinjiang in the east of the cemetery.


Then you will board a return flight to Urumqi. Our guide will meet you at the airport and escort you to Turpan by car. Check in at the hotel in downtown upon arrival.

Day 07 Turpan
In the morning, you will visit Jiaohe Ruins, which is one of the most important towns along the ancient Silk Road. It is also the largest, oldest and best-preserved earth construction in the world. Although 2,000 years have passed, the former glory of Jiaohe can still be found from the ruins.


Then you will visit the famous Karez Well, the gigantic underground irrigation system created by ancient Xinjiang people. Over 1,100 Karez Wells in Turpan have provided precious water source to this dry and hot area during the past 400 years.


The next stop will be the existing largest ancient pagoda in Xinjiang, Sugong Pagoda. The pagoda is a 44-meter-high (144 feet) Islamic pagoda, which bears a history of over 200 years.


Day 08 Turpan – Dunhuang by road
Today you will visit another famous ruin in Turpan, Gaochang Ruins, which used to be the capital of ancient Gaochang Kingdom. From the outline of the ruins, you can still find the trace of many former buildings, like temples, markets and palace.


Then you will go to the Bizaklik Thousand Buddha Caves, a cluster of caves with thousands of Buddhism murals. The vivid murals show many Buddhism figures, stories, and the social life about 1,000 years ago in Ancient Gaochang Kingdom.


The last stop will be the hottest place in China, the Flaming Hill, which is located at the north of ancient Silk Road. Nothing grows on the hill and the highest temperature of summer could reach 47.8 degrees Celcium. Seen from afar, the Flaming Hill resembles a red fire dragon flying upward.


Afterwards, you will board an overnight soft sleeper train to Dunhuang.

Day 09 Dunhuang
Breakfast is on your own. Upon your arrival, our guide will meet you at Liuyuan railway station and escort you to the hotel in Dunhuang. It will take about two hours' drive from Liuyuan Station to Dunhuang.
After a short rest in the hotel, visit the famous Mogao Caves, which is one of the four most famous caves in China. Known as the “Oriental Louvre”, the Mogao Caves not only boasts a large number of vivid Buddhism murals, statues and architecture, but also is renowned as the treasure house of Buddhism culture.


Then continue your trip to Dunhuang Museum, where you will get a better understanding of the Silk Road from the exhibited historical relics.

Day 10 Dunhuang – Xi’an by flight
Today you will visit one of the most famous attractions along the Silk Road, the Echoing-Sand Mountain. It is so named because when you slide down the slope, you can hear the roaring echo of sands. You will experience a short camel ride along the mountain to reach the Crescent Lake. It is really a natural wonder that the crescent-shaped spring surrounded by the endless Gobi desert has not dried up over the past one thousand years and still gushes with fresh current.


Then you will board a flight to Xi’an. Our guide will meet you and escort you to the hotel in downtown.

Day 11 Xi’an
In the morning, you will visit the world's eighth wonder, the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum.


In the afternoon, continue your visit to one of the symbolic attraction of Xi’an, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Initially built in the Tang Dynasty to collect sutra from India, the seven-story pagoda witnessed much changes and development of Xi’an in the past 1,300 years.


Then you will visit the City Wall, which is regarded as another symbol of this city. 


In the evening, you will have the local dinner, the Dumpling Dinner, which comprises many different kinds of Chinese dumplings, and enjoy the Tang Dynasty Dance and Music Show at Shaanxi Opera Theater (Addr: No. 165, Wenyi Road).


Day 12 Xi’an – Shanghai by flight
In the morning, you will visit the Shaanxi Provincial History Museum. The gallery of this Museum wins high reputation for its superior advantages in quantity, species of relic and quality. Bronze wares, potter a figurine, gold and silver objects as well as Tang tomb painting are all wonderful rarities.


After that, you will board a flight to Shanghai. Our guide will meet you and escort you to the hotel in downtown.

Day 13 Shanghai
Today starts from Shanghai Museum, which is one of the best museums and earns its fame for vast storage of historical relics.
Then you will visit the Yuyuan Garden, one of the most famous southern China gardens, where you will see the typical architecture of Chinese gardens, such as halls with flying eaves and pointed corners, long corridors and grotesque artificial hills.


In the afternoon, you will take a short cruise tour along the Huangpu River, discovering the history and the present from the totally different scenes along the banks of Huangpu River. Debark at the Bund area, where you will have some free time to stroll around. Then visit an old street.


Day 14 Departure from Shanghai
Today our guide will see you off at the airport for your homeward flight.
